Benefits Bulletin

Varian was launching several new or enhanced benefits programs over the course of several months. Some were the responsibility of the HR team and others were the purview of the Finance organization. In addition, some were global changes and others would only impact employees in the US. The company wanted to insure that the changes appeared seamless, as if they came from a single coordinated department.

Alire & Associates designed a simple, electronic newsletter called Benefits Bulletin so that employees could be regularly reminded of the changes coming over the next four months, directed to more information on web pages, and clearly directed where they needed to take action. Alire & Associates also wrote the first two issues for the company and then they produced the follow-up issues using the simple design.
